Samildanach Arts

(Applies to All Licensed Works)

1. Scope of Application

This policy applies to all performance texts, scripts, and educational drama resources licensed by Samildanach Arts, regardless of title, year group, or edition.

This policy forms part of the licence conditions under which Samildanach Arts works are supplied and used.

2. Expansion & Doubling Permission

All roles in Samildanach Arts works are fully expandable and shareable.

Any role may be performed by multiple students simultaneously, divided into sub-groups, or delivered through shared or echoed speech.

Additional students may join the ensemble at any point through movement, support, or observation roles without affecting the structure or meaning of the work.

3. Educational & Inclusion Intent

This permission exists to ensure:

  • full participation for mixed-ability groups

  • inclusion of neurodivergent and low-verbal students

  • flexibility for varying class sizes

  • reduced performance pressure

  • teacher-led control at all times

Expansion and doubling are considered intended use, not adaptation.

4. Safeguarding & Authority

All expansion and doubling decisions remain:

  • fully teacher-directed

  • subject to school safeguarding policies

  • non-compulsory for any individual student

No student is required to perform, speak, or remain in role.

5. Licensing Status

This document:

  • applies automatically to all Samildanach Arts licences

  • does not require modification of individual scripts

  • does not alter ownership, copyright, or usage limits

  • is issued alongside licensed materials as a binding addendum
